Episode 185 - James and the Giant Peach (1996)
Continuing on with the Henry Selick series, it's his second film as well as the second time we are covering an adaptation of a Roald Dahl property! Join Rob, Zack, and Ben as they discuss one of the greatest cinematic showdowns: Mecha-Shark vs. Giant Peach. Did we record this episode inside a peach? Was Randy Newman inside of a peach when he wrote the word peach thousands of times and called it a song? Will Disney give this movie the live action remake treatment? Plus, the hosts discuss the post-credits scene in real time!

Episode 184 - The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)
Finally, the 2001 Fortyear has been finished, and we can start a new series! What better way to celebrate than to discuss a movie from 1993, and especially one from such a great director. That's right, since we covered "Monkeybone" back in March, we are now finishing the movies of Henry Selick! Kicking it off is the most merchandised movie of all time (what is Star Wars?). This episode has everything: Rob singing, Rob confusing Zack and Jack, and deep discussion of this film's themes.

Episode 183 - Jeepers Creepers (2001) & Jeepers Creepers 2 (2003)
It is here, the end of the 2001 Fortyear! Curated by Zack, what better way to bring it all to an end than by having Rob invite our good friend L'Juan, from LJ's Garage, to discuss the genre of horror as a whole. Zack & L'Juan gravitate towards each other while Rob eagerly awaits the end of a series. And yes, yes, we know all about the director of these movies, tune in to hear Zack's thoughts on a monster (in more ways than one!)!

We started with some raunchy teen comedies at the start of this 2001 Fortyear, so what better way than to revisit the most influential one of all in this penultimate episode of the series? Join Rob and Zack as they discuss the state of raunchy sex comedies since the early 2000's, Euphoria, The Matrix franchise, and Rob's favorite joke of all time!

Get ready for another movie for which Rob & Zack have differing opinions! But which of them likes this methodical, atmospheric, and pretentious film? Happy Birthday, Ben Affleck!
What better way to celebrate this year than with one of the craziest things coming from Ben Affleck than his first directorial effort: the short film "I Killed My Lesbian Wife, Hung Her on a Meathook, and Now I Have a Three Picture Deal at Disney". What more needs to be said other than that title? If anyone wants to watch this short film, it is available on YouTube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PA-QNd8AxIE

Episode 180 - Rat Race (2001)
It's a movie Rob's been eagerly waiting for during the 2001 Fortyear! The only problem is that it turns out there's some contention between him and Zack on this topic, which was unexpected. Oh boy, do they argue over this one. There's debate over if a cow talks, one shot of a car in a driveway, comedy in general; it's a doozy. Tune in and see whose side you take this time!

Episode 179 - The Princess Diaries (2001)
Although we're covering a movie we don't think anyone ever really wanted us to, this episode has everything! Hear Rob & Zack talk about some big time characters like Fat Louie, Cruella, and The Gorn. Then, they get into the 2006 Yu-Gi-Oh US national championships and Zack tries to belittle the fact that Rob doesn't get brain freeze. With all of this, don't worry, they still vehemently argue about this G-rated Disney movie!

Episode 178 - Planet of the Apes (2001)
We've had some high points during Zack's 2001 Fortyear, but we've also had some lows, and this one might be the lowest. Especially since it's immediately following last week's episode on dinosaurs. But what is the difference between movie apes and movie dinosaurs? What's the deal with Tim Burton? How crazy were the action figures for this movie? Could this movie have been better? Listen in on an episode that is definitively better than the movie we're covering!

Episode 177 - Jurassic Park 3 (2001)
We're back to dinosaurs, and Rob is not happy. Join him and Zack as they discuss the shortest dinosaur installment and the future of the franchise. But did dinosaurs actually exist? Does the answer to that question actually matter? Why does Zack get so much enjoyment from digging up Rob's repressed memories of Barney? What does Lupe Fiasco have to do with this movie?
