Episode 200 - Jupiter Ascending (2015)
We've made it to 200 episodes! To celebrate, we're not covering the new Matrix, the new Spider-Man, or even Jonathan Peters and "Licorice Pizza", but Zack is taking over and we're discussing an expensive box-office disaster! This episode was recorded back in September of 2021 when Rob & Zack were together, so excuse the audio quality. There're tax grievances, there's talk about women selling their eggs, there're Wachowski rankings, there's talk about things covered in the last three weeks because we are always going through the turnstiles!

Episode 199 - The Matrix Revolutions (2003)
We have reached the end of The Matrix franchise...for now! Another one of the most reviled sequels in film history, there's no surprise what Rob thinks about this conclusion, but how does it hold up for Zack? He's stated it's his favorite of the three, so tune in to hear if that is still the case. Also, there's talk about the remaining Animatrix segments, the Path of Neo video game, and of course, the Matrix Online. How will all of these things come together for The Matrix Resurrections?

As we transition from one of the most influential movies ever into one of the most reviled sequels, don't expect Rob's love for this franchise to die down! In fact, exactly the opposite occurs, and Rob takes Zack down the rabbit hole into The Matrix lore. The Merovingian, the Architect, the Oracle, it's all in here!

Jon Watts‘ Spider-Man MCU Movies: Homecoming & Far From Home

Monday Nov 15, 2021
Episode 194 - Jon Watts' Spider-Man MCU Movies - Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) and Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019)
Getting to more movies from the Marvel cinematic universe was inevitable, and Zack just knew he'd be able to wrangle Rob into it eventually. Listen in on them and Ben discussing the state of the MCU, what we find interesting and uninteresting about these movies, and some editing blips because Thanos snapped Rob's audio out of existence at a few moments.
At a point in this episode, Ben thinks a character from "The Amazing Spider-Man" from last week looks very similar to a character in "Spider-Man: Homecoming". It seems that his comparison is between Irrfan Khan and Tony Revolori! Let us know what you think about this comparison by emailing us at Cinemoddities@gmail.com or through the Cinemoddities subreddit at www.reddit.com/r/Cinemoddites

Episode 192 - Sam Raimi's Spider-Man Trilogy
Spider-Man (2002), Spider-Man 2 (2004), and Spider-Man 3 (2007), let's turn it up, here we go! It is the longest episode of Cinemoddities ever, but you better believer that it is jam packed with content! Rob hates the comic book movies, but Ben & Zack have other things to say! Jeez, I'm getting winded even writing this sweaty intro. You like Maguire, you like Raimi, you like spiders? Stop looking at me, just listen! No, for real, I am at a loss with this one. If you're not reading the show notes, you are certainly not diving into 5 hours of spider-content.
